Holding two views – experiment with combining,
rather than competing out of lack – and just listen . . .
(don’t worry about the astro-jargon – go for the gist)
Gemini – 2 of everything – collaborate, not compete
. We are in the hands of angels, so to speak, New Moon in Gemini leading the way through the mental field, open to receiving new ideas. As we register ideas and share them, they grow and adapt to our circumstances, so we would do well to stay positive in our hopes and intentions. Sharing our individual experiences and potential solutions, we are more likely to be heard and received when the ideas are pertinent to what’s happening for everyone (Mercury in Gemini trine Pluto, both sextile Saturn/Neptune in just into Aries).
. One of the problems of so much mental activity is that it produces so many thoughts and uses a lot of energy without accomplishing much. Too many words, too much talking, or focusing on ideas that are not in tune with humanity’s present direction of growth, can lead us down rabbit holes – leading to a sense of frustration, which easily fuels a battle between speakers who find themselves in opposition (Jupiter square North and South Nodes). What may be needed is paring the words down, so something can be seen as do’able, even if that’s just recognising what things need to fall away into the past (Nodes in harmony with Uranus still in Taurus).
. Meanwhile the energy of this New Moon is so positive, warm and accepting that we will need to discriminate between which wounds are self-inflicted (inner work needed) and which are genuine results of circumstances (help may be needed in dealing with the world), so that we don’t pour our energy down wells of need that are inconsolable. That also means, we need to take care of our own conditioned state through communicating our feelings with a friend, therapist, or journal.
Saturn into Aries – with Neptune
. Every two and a half years Saturn changes Sign. This month Saturn is fresh into Aries, the last time being from April 1996 – March 1999. The world was worrying about Y2K (year 2000), fearing that the date shift for computers would completely upset timetables for travelling and much more – none of which happened. So let’s not worry about whatever the future may bring, let’s instead be prepared in ourselves to deal with whatever shows up for us. A big difference this time is that Saturn will connect with Neptune who is just into Aries already, and this combination suggests that we are more subject to divine timing than we like to think. Our job is to know what we want in the world, in our lives, and hold that positive focus through what we do, as we go along. (I’ve added at the end of this letter, a piece I found on Anne Waters Facebook page on the first step towards manifesting what we want.)
. The ‘angels’ will take care of the timing that works for our souls in this incarnation – each one of us is like a tall ship in a storm at sea, take care of the ship and tune the rigging to the best we know, and the wind and ocean currents will deliver us where we need to be. Leaning into trust, and being prepared to cut ropes when necessary, is what we need to do on the ship.
Jupiter into Cancer – love and nurture self, and then others
. By the Full Moon on 11 June, something may have arisen that tips our thinking into the emotional field, directly confronting the forward movement we may have put in place for ourselves (Mercury crosses Jupiter end of Gemini 8 June, then Mercury/Jupiter in Cancer square Saturn/Neptune). We could be finding it hard to hold our focus because of emotional pressures. There might be a sense of guilt about our ‘selfish’ aims, even though they may be correct for us; a sense of not deserving our plans if it causes someone pain; or anger/frustration at things getting in the way, holding up the process as we see it. There may be more grief than seems personally appropriate, but is felt very real. Any of this results in the struggle of holding opposing desires; it’s a cauldron wherein transformation of our being is already underway. The purpose is to grow together into human communities, rather than individuals operating alone, but from the level of survival we are brought up to feel fearful, so closeness to others feels challenging and we fight for resources, which in reality are abundant.
. Trying to escape from the inner turbulence is like trying to back out of a chrysalis when part of us has already melted down. The only way is to continue into the chrysalis melt-down while holding the angel hands, trusting that yours and others’ souls are resilient and spirit-lead. Future communities are being formed, groups that will create our best dreams together, not alone (Mercury quincunx Pluto). There’s quite a way to go yet! From 21 May – 21 June, the Sun will be moving through Gemini, indicating perhaps that our hearts are capable of encompassing two positions, as long as we have compassion for our human condition. The next New Moon will be on 25 June in Cancer, bringing more clarity as to what really has top priority.
Encourage and support positive efforts
. Being opposite the Sun, this Full Moon itself is in Sagittarius, forming a lovely triangle with Mars and Chiron. This smooth connection shows humanity engaged in the adventure of discussing positive solutions to what isn’t working between people and their governments. It seems the focus has become driven by fear and the need to protect. There are those in government who don’t feel fear, which gives them the power to control the fearful ones for their own benefit. It’s so important, I feel, to support any true efforts within governing bodies towards righting the balance. All of this can also be read in terms of each one of us, how we govern our activities based largely on fear, and set about to control our activities for maximum personal reward. And following the thoughts through, I need to encourage myself in any effort I begin that creates more health and wellbeing, rather than momentary gratification that damages them. I’m working on it! Among other things, I have a piece of paper under my glass of water by the computer, these words are written on it:
Peace, Wellness, Healing Love.

Contemplation for this New Moon in Gemini
Just listen quietly
to the conversations inside
Don’t interrupt – listen through to the end
No need to take sides, or make judgements
Hold all the speakers gently in your heart
Understand why they say what they do
No need to change them
just listen quietly.
With love,
Margaret

. . . just a thought . . .
remembering to bear in mind the soul’s timing rather than ego’s, and we are all in this together. 🙂
The first step to getting the things you want in life is: Decide what you want.
The first step on your journey to manifesting the life you crave begins with a simple yet profound decision: Decide what you truly want. It may sound straightforward, but this act requires immense courage and clarity. Without a clear vision, it’s all too easy to float through life, feeling adrift and unfulfilled.
Take a sacred moment today to turn your gaze inward. What do you genuinely desire? What sparks your passion and fills your heart with joy? Write it down, paint it in your mind’s eye, and commit wholeheartedly to it. Your dreams are worthy of your focus and nurturing!
Remember, every remarkable achievement is born from a decision. When you boldly declare what you want, you initiate the wheels of transformation. This declaration empowers you to take meaningful action, confront the obstacles ahead, and sculpt the life you’ve always envisioned. from Anne Waters’ Facebook page

Margaret, once again, thank you, you’ve hit many a nail on its head for me in your most recent soul astrology, I’ve been experiencing/ inner working with it over the past month .
With love.
