Timing of the total Eclipse 12 August 2026 – for the UK
The time of the total eclipse for the UK is about 7:15 pm BST (UT = 6:15).
Perhaps start to watch for the changes at 6.15 and allow an hour for them to build up. The Moon travels about half a Zodiac sign every hour. Enjoy the experience of the world as the eclipse moment passes, which will show up whether there’s cloud or not – dark is dark. It won’t be total to the UK view but almost. And enjoy how you feel through the process, how reassuring it is to ‘know’ the light will return. This is the attitude we need to harbour in our hearts in the face of mental/emotional darkness – the Light will return! It never went away actually, our feelings just get in the way.

The process and observation were interestesting…I can’t say I enjoyed it as I felt a lot of pressure in my head and spaced out a bit though sat with the quiet. The crows were the first to start ‘talking’ again just sfter the peak. As the Sun was revealed again I felt some positive forces arrived…amongst the testing experience.
