Let Life roll out its changes for you to see and embrace.
(don’t worry about the astro-jargon – go for the gist)
A big energy wave is beginning
. Talking about the astrological patterns first, this New Moon chart clearly shows the basket, or cradle, of aspects that astrologers have been talking about for the last several years. The three major outer planets have been lined up in a beneficent triangle for some time now, and at last Jupiter is moving towards its place opposite Pluto. Jupiter is still in the last degrees of Cancer, where Venus just passed it bringing warmth and caring through situations that have been emotionally turbulent. The day before this New Moon, Venus enters Leo, where Jupiter is due to take its place on 30 June. So around the next Full Moon, Jupiter will at last be completing the pattern the outer planetary energies have been holding for the Earth’s transformation. We will be feeling the wave coming from 30 June, but Jupiter actually completes the active aspects that get this intense wave of change fully underway around the next New Moon in the middle of July. This New Moon in Gemini is setting the scene for that next stage of the evolving world show, and Venus in Leo is leading a heart of Love.
Managing our emotional body
. Now let’s look at how to be with the energetic flow: we are just completing a year of emphasis on emotional vulnerability and the protection of those challenged. There may be a sense of anxiety as though we may have missed something vital, or not properly understood the needs (Mercury through Cancer culminating in a square to Saturn during the last few days). The issues we have been increasingly aware of will continue to occupy us, but rather than trying to solve them, we need to discover as much as possible about the surrounding circumstances and accept that is how it is. This is what allows things to move along and become solvable. There is always more happening than we can know, and often it’s something we didn’t think of that makes all the difference in the end (this New Moon in Gemini will be drawing attention to Uranus’ recent move into Gemini).
. Our thinking is liable to be emotionally charged for the rest of this month, possibly worrying at those ‘causative’ circumstances, wanting to explain or justify our positions. We are likely to find, in others and ourselves, some entrenched positions speaking more forcefully than is helpful, or perhaps silently passive-aggressive; although on the positive side, this could show up as some very caring and supportive work (Mercury sextiling Taurus Mars in the chart, and retrograding 29 June to 23 July; Mercury in Cancer until 9 August, Mars into Gemini 29 June).
Humanity operates best as groups of individuals
. From the Full Moon on 30 June, Mercury will turn retrograde, just as Mars kicks-starts Uranus into implementing Pluto/Neptune transformative behaviours. This looks like the sudden freeing of planned changes that have been accumulating while nothing seemed to be happening. Read this in terms of global events (insofar as they are accurately reported somewhere on the web), but also as relevant to our personal lives. What have you been hoping for, and planning towards that seems to have been blocked from expression? Be ready to receive what you may have been waiting for, but don’t expect to receive it, or be too sure how it will look, just be ready in case . . . .
. Chiron, having spent the last 7 years in Aries, developing our sense of being worthy individuals, moves into Taurus on 20 June, in touch with the needs of the time, and effective by being relevant to humanity’s spiritual growth (Chiron sextile humanity’s North Node). The shift from Aries to Taurus is where millions of people become ‘humanity’, alike to millions of grains of sand becoming ‘the beach’! Accepting the commonality of human experience can help heal the pain of our individual souls while we are subject to the Laws of Nature that govern all material life – and to reach that healing we each need to release our individual ego’s personal grip. This is the slowing down into our true humanity where we naturally focus our loving energy on any previous practical damage in order to allow healing to manifest – in our bodies, in our lives, and in the planet.
Strengthen your connection to inner guidance
. Beautifully, at the back of all this is the warmth and positivity that occurs when people put their true hearts into what they express (Venus in Leo). Communication could get volatile, even dramatic, but it should be more real – and the possibility is that Love will be the driver of our heart-felt initiatives. The Full Moon will be in Capricorn, opposing the Cancer Sun keeping the emotional sensitivity focused on practical results that are valuable for all of us. At the same time, there will be some working to hold the door of personal evolution open, due to a sense of coercion – as though we’re being herded through a sheep-dip of ill-health, in the hope that we’ll forget who we really are! (Neptune and Saturn in Aries square the Full Moon). Stay present, checking your assumptions, making sure you get both sides of any situation! And be sure you choose what feels right to you insofar as that’s possible.
Working together
. Just before the next New Moon, we may well have a breakthrough in realisation of what exactly needs to be done to repair the past, but that needs a shift in attitude suggesting more maturity and a determination to tackle what’s wrong. Maybe there could finally be an effective recognition at a governmental level of the need to regenerate the soil, support natural farming, and so on, and maybe not – though that would certainly make the world a better place (Venus into Virgo on South Node on 9 July). We may expect a re-drawing of boundaries and borders for the protective love of what we value most. Keep an open heart and an open mind, within your need to maintain health on all levels – your soul needs you! Next New Moon we’ll be looking towards Jupiter’s connection with Saturn in Aries, the changes that follow this July tsunami . . .
