On the 8th November in England, 9th November
in America, the total eclipse of the Moon occurs at sixty
degrees from two other opposing pairs of planets, Saturn opposite
Chiron, and Mars opposite Jupiter. These six points make up
a perfect star-shape, or hexagon, formed of two triangles,
one in the Water signs containing the Sun, and the other in
the Earth signs containing the Moon. The moment of this pattern
coming to perfection with the eclipse has been named the Harmonic
Concordance. When I asked the next two questions inwardly,
and the following paragraphs were the answers.
What does this astrological pattern represent?
And how can we best assist the perfect movement of the time
that it describes?
That is precisely what it's about - moving
in harmony with the time. There are several things that work
against this in everyday life, especially in the modern world.
One is the desire to have fun filled relating - Venus in Sagittarius
at odds with the planetary pattern. Another is the feeling
that there should be no pain. This is another burden we place
upon ourselves, that we judge the rightness or fitness of
any experience in accordance with how much suffering there
appears to be in it. Suffering is a reaction belonging to
attitude, rather than the truth of our feelings. If you have
the attitude of loving yourself and knowing that you are playing
a valuable part in the human process of this time, then you
will not experience these days as suffering and pain. You
will instead feel that you are achieving great things.
It is not necessary to know exactly the ins
and outs of the movement of this time. It is sufficient to
be in the moment with yourself, your desires, your reactions,
and your needs as you perceive them. Accept how you are, that
is all. You need to accept and rejoice that you are here now.
Most surely you are here because your spirit judged it the
right time to manifest you. So you need to rejoice that you
are here now, and do your best to BE. It is your presence
here that tips the balance into the next true and perfect
moment. Therefore you should never think 'It would be right
for me not to be here now'. What would your universe do without
you? There would be a gap in the Truth. For you are a part
of all that is, and the earth knows you.
That is what the 'concordance' is about. Being
who we are in spite of the patterns of thought that would
have us different. Uranus is breaking up the past attitudes,
the lines of thought that have served as scaffolding for our
present understanding. Let go the lines, let them fall back
into the past, and see what happens to your understanding!
You will be surprised at where you find yourself.
The oppositions in the chart pattern demonstrate
the war you have with yourself. Knowing, and not knowing;
loving, and being irritated; pulling the world forwards into
the shape you would like, and pulling yourself out of the
picture altogether. These opposites show up in daily life:
being unfocused enough to drop things, while something you
didn't try for works out perfectly; or fighting for peace,
yet finding that gentle honesty gets the best results. These
opposites are mutually exclusive and yet, if you own up to
having them within you, all the opposing ends will disappear
into the wheel of destiny, that which moves in accordance
with all time and space, and, in moving, shifts the perspective
into a totality that knows only One.
Those planets outside the star pattern are
the little everyday human jitters that keep the cauldron bubbling,
the crucible in apparent chaos. But in truth all is included,
known, and at peace in its own company. Both ends of the pole
are the pole - your life is the factor linking the opposites
- and there is no problem when you move through experiences
from the living centre that joins them.
The trick is to hold the centre point as we
go along like walking a tightrope, holding a long pole in
our hands to help keep the balance. If we put too much mental
energy in the movement of the ends of the pole as they swing
up and down, we grip the pole too tight, trying to steady
the pole. The pole balances us best if we hold it easily,
lightly, focussing on each step along the rope. Our hands
need to be fairly far apart - that is, accepting that our
moods do swing and change, and being aware of those changes
as they happen - feeling vertical and relaxed. From the centre,
we can encompass the whole picture as we move through life
day by day, hour by hour.

Many thousands will be marking this celestial
event across the world in meditation, prayer, ceremony, sacred
sound, and deed. The main global linkup time will centre on
01:13 GMT. We would suggest that you actually dedicate the
whole day to marking this event, and gather for as much of
the duration of the Eclipse as possible. We suggest that you
link up globally in meditation for the duration of the Total
