Pluto and Chiron are completing their stint which has been going on in the background since the first explosion around the New Year. The explosion was of deep old stuff surfacing to be healed. Chiron is covering the area to complete the healing of what came up, and Pluto will complete the transformation of it all during November, empowering whatever stronger aspect of ourselves has surfaced. The healing is in the area of beliefs and understandings (Sagittarius), so that we include all of life in our inner picture (modern metaphysics).

The other astrological change from the last two and a half years or so, is that Saturn has been touching into Gemini out of Taurus since about 10th August. Saturn expresses our actual experiences that we learn from, and in Taurus there has been a focus on the practical sides of life. Health and home and stability of a physical nature have been the learning grounds. Saturn moving into Gemini changes the focus to the mental sphere, which shows up in communications most of the time. But it starts in our 'thoughts about' whatever.

Jupiter went into Gemini at the beginning of July, which would have increased the plans and projections on the mental level. Now comes Saturn to point out how much of this is not sensible, or possible of achievement - really the lesson is to take more care of our thoughts and projections, because we shall surely get what we put out for.

The touch of a Gemini Saturn at the moment is temporary - just an indication of the next two years' work. Saturn will retrograde back into Taurus mid-October, allowing us to complete some physical stuff before going into Gemini for a two year stretch from late April 2001. So we are each getting a preview of what is needed in our personal behaviour mentally and in communication with others, and we shall have plenty of time to work on it later.

These days we need to know that everything possible is always there - it is as though we are in a spinning space-pod inside ourselves, whirling experiences into our reality. It tends to feel round and round, but hopefully we're spiralling ever closer to the CENTER, or the WHOLE, or however you would put it. One thing is sure, there is more to come - let's put our energy into the positive!
