Pluto and Chiron:
If you were one of those people experiencing
deeper than usual turbulence around the beginning of 2000,
you are now likely to be feeling much more confident in the
area of your life that was disturbed. (Transiting Pluto and
Chiron were conjunct at 10/11 degrees Sagittarius at the beginning
of 2000 and if that aspected any planet, angle or node in
your chart you were one of those people.)
That confidence is a result of the healing that
has been unfolding throughout the Summer, culminating in September.
(During that time, as the orbiting Earth overtook it, Chiron
appeared to move back, or retrograde, towards that 11 degree
point, stopped over it and then continued slowly forwards
again.) You are now more secure in yourself, and that security
comes from having developed a different attitude to the whole
area of life that was disturbed. That particular area of your
life would be shown in your chart by the House position of
11 degrees Sagittarius, and how your natal planets are connected
to it.
During November, it is likely that you will
be able to move forward in the area of your life that has
been at issue - because your new attitude will be opening
doors, allowing different solutions that had not previously
been available to you, transforming your experience. (Pluto
also appeared to go back over 11 degrees Sagittarius, and
will transit forward over it again in November, completing
the energetic movement in this area of your chart.)
Saturn and Jupiter:
During the time mid-August to mid-October (while
Saturn was in Gemini) all of us may well have been attempting
to put into action our July plans for expanded communication.
(Jupiter transited into Gemini at the beginning of July.)
But from mid-October our focus would have returned
to physical security, (transiting Saturn retrograded back
into Taurus). Since October it has become clear that more
groundwork is needed before the plans can implemented. Patience
and a steady hand are required throughout this winter, but
in late January blockages will tend to shift, and movement
can accelerate forward, (on 25th January 2001 both Jupiter
and Saturn stop retrograding and move forward again). The
House in your chart through which Jupiter and Saturn are transiting,
will show the area of life where you personally are working
to feel more materially secure. In late April 2001 we will
all reap the benefits of our persistence, (as Saturn moves
into Gemini for the next two years).
The Solar eclipse in January 2001 - and Uranus:
On January 9th 2001, there will be a total eclipse
of the Sun because the Earth will be directly between the
Sun and Moon for a moment when the Moon is full. The Sun will
be 19/20 degrees Capricorn as the Moon goes through the same
degree of Cancer. As the Moon has similar qualities to Cancer,
the water-pulling effect will be very strong.
In us this water-pulling shows up emotionally
- it's as though our own fluid is being pulled up into our
heads, the emotions ruling the mind. The reflection of this
for humanity, at that time and for the following month, will
be the opportunity to realise that focussing on the needs
of others truly helps us to retain a more detached view of
our own difficulties. (The astrology of this opportunity is
that Uranus will also be at 19/20 degrees of its own Sign,
Aquarius, producing a quincunx to the full Moon) - It is caring
for others that aids personal detachment, enabling visionary
solutions for all.
This may sound complicated so here it is in
a sentence: During the January eclipse and throughout February
2001, we can benefit as a collective working together, and
we also benefit individually. So at that time, let yourself
be aware of the needs of others, focus on what is going on
around you and how you can help, and the result will be that
you understand your place in life a whole lot better!
